Before coming to New Horizons (NW) Sean previously worked as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant for 10 years, across all year groups in a primary school. Progressing from lunchtime supervisor to leading classes and interventions with lower-ability children.
Sean has a multitude of life skills and voluntary work experience, working in the community with disadvantaged children, from all backgrounds, through sports. Starting and running a local football club for 8 years for children within his community, before embarking on his new career in residential care.
He has volunteered throughout the northwest, using his experience to help disadvantaged children through street invention and 1 to 1 support.
Seeing teamwork as a vital part of any role, he prides himself on being approachable, caring and open-minded. A passionate individual, always leading from the front.
