Annual Family Fun Day Saturday 18th June 2022

The New Horizons (NW) Family Fun Day is now in its second year and continues to grow, as we grow as a company.

This year’s Family Fun Day event was held at Walmer Bridge Village Hall on Saturday 18th June, 2022 from midday to 4 pm, and was well attended by staff, families and young people of all ages.

Our Family Fun Day is a free annual event that we put on to say thank you to everyone involved with New Horizons. With lots of nice things to eat and drink, fun games to play and prizes to be won, there was something for everyone, plus the weather stayed fine for us too.

Some of the day’s highlights included children’s entertainer Adrian Catch, musicians Gary & Tom, a friendly visit from the West Lancashire Police and all ably compared by ITV’s Paul Crone.

There was face painting by Emma from Partyfriendz Entertainment, ice creams from Martin’s Whippy, some fantastic inflatables from Blackpool Bounce and a stay on the bull ride operated by Fun Experts. The amazing food was provided by Chris on the BBQ and Sam’s Grill to Fill, and we certainly were full by the end of the day.

Thanks also to the companies and individuals that donated all the fabulous prizes for our raffle: Gina Watts, Kimm Jupp, The Hair Lounge Southport, Claire Brookfield at Pheonyx Personal Training Southport, The Carpet Shop Southport, Jamie Ashworth, T12 Body Transformations and Britannia IT, Southport.
