Bank View’s First Ofsted OUTSTANDING!
Huge congratulations to our team at Bank View, who have achieved their very first Outstanding rating from Ofsted in just their second inspection!
As one of our newer homes, this achievement is a fantastic testament to the dedication, passion and hard work of everyone involved. Situated in Southport, Bank View provides a nurturing home for two young people and has quickly established itself as a place where children can truly thrive.
Special recognition must go to Home Manager, Sophia, whose commitment to achieving the very best outcomes for young people shines through in everything she does. Sophia is an incredibly dedicated and passionate leader who genuinely cares about the children in her care. Her enthusiasm, drive and supportive approach have helped create a highly motivated and committed team who consistently go above and beyond.
The home received an Outstanding judgement across all three Ofsted inspection areas:
Overall Experiences and Progress of Children and Young People – OUTSTANDING
Inspectors highlighted the exceptional commitment shown by staff, stating:.
“Staff routinely go above and beyond to meet children’s needs. A staff member attends work on their day off to ensure that a child attends their therapy session. Such commitment enhances children’s experiences and outcomes.”
How Well Children and Young People Are Helped and Protected – OUTSTANDING
The report recognised the positive impact staff have had in helping children feel safe and supported:
